The design brief for this project was to create a cover page for ‘DG Magazine’. The cover was required to have elements of hand illustrations and be based on a popular person or topic of our choosing.
I chose to base the design on the creator of famous DC comic characters, Malcolm Wheeler-Nicholson and the popular characters he created. My design included popular comic layouts and colours, as well as hand-drawn illustrations of Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, and the creator. These illustrations were later transformed into vector images using Adobe Illustrator.
